Frequently asked questions

Is OnNext free?

Yes. OnNext is free to use, with no adverts and no paid tier.

Which platforms is OnNext on?

Android first, arriving on Google Play shortly. An iPhone version follows once the Android app is out.

Is OnNext a TV Time replacement?

That is exactly why it exists. TV Time shuts down on 15 July 2026, and OnNext covers what most people used it for: tracking episodes, seeing what to watch next and being told when new episodes air, without the social feed.

Where does the show data come from?

From TMDB, the community-run movie and TV database. OnNext uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

How do episode notifications work?

Follow a show and you get one push notification on the day a new episode airs. There are no other notifications, and you can turn alerts off in Settings.

Will comments spoil episodes for me?

No. Comments are off by default. Unless you switch them on in Settings, you will never see a comment or a comment count anywhere in the app.

Do I need an account?

Yes, a free account with an email address and password. Your watch history has to live somewhere so it can follow you across devices.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, under Settings, delete your account at any time. It removes your account and all data we hold about you immediately.
