A Library for everything you have finished
TrackShows 1.11.0 is about the things you are done with.
Two requests arrived within days of each other. One asked for completed shows to move off the home tab, so that On Next stays focused on what you are actually watching. The other asked for a list of watched movies. They turned out to be the same request from two directions: finished things deserve a place of their own, and that place is not the home screen.
The Library tab
There is now a fourth tab, between What’s On and your Profile, called Library. It has two sections.
Completed shows is the list that used to sit at the bottom of On Next: every show where you have watched all there is to watch, each one labelled Ended, Cancelled or Returning series, so you can tell what is truly over from what is just waiting on its next season. Long press still selects shows for bulk unfollowing, exactly as it did before.
Watched movies is new. Until now, marking a movie watched removed it from view almost entirely: it left the watchlist and was only ever visible again on its own page. The Library keeps the full list, newest first, with the date you watched each one. Your movie history is finally somewhere you can browse.
Tap anything in either section and it opens as usual, with ratings, comments and streaming details.
Home is only what is next
With Completed moved out, the On Next tab now holds exactly three things: episodes ready to watch, upcoming episodes, and your movie watchlist. If you are all caught up, it says so instead of padding the screen with what you have already finished. That is the whole point of a tracker: open the app, see what is next, watch it.
If either of these requests sounds like something you asked for, that is because it was. Both came in through the app’s feedback form, and the feature request board on your Profile is where ideas like this get voted on.
Everything here is live now in the web app, and the Android update is on its way through review. The full history is on the changelog.
