The TrackShows iPhone app is now in development
Short and sweet: work on a native TrackShows app for iPhone has started.
When we launched Google sign-in we said an iOS app was under consideration and that the more people asked, the likelier it would get. People asked. So it is happening.
What is coming
The same TrackShows you know from Android and the web, as a proper App Store app:
- Your next unwatched episode of every show, front and centre.
- A push notification the day a new episode airs. Nothing else, ever.
- TV Time import, spoiler-safe comments, trophies, all of it.
- Sign in with Apple, which will arrive on every platform at the same time.
One account everywhere: follow a show on your iPhone and it is already followed on the web app and on Android.
Using TrackShows on iPhone today
You do not have to wait to use TrackShows on an iPhone. The web app works fully in Safari: open app.trackshows.tv, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, and it behaves like a normal app, alerts included. The download page has all the options.
When
We are not going to promise a date and then miss it. Development has started, Apple’s review process takes as long as it takes, and this post will be followed by a launch announcement when the app is live. If you want to know the moment it lands, the FAQ and this blog will be kept up to date.
